Larnaca General Hospital is the largest Hospital in Larnaca District serving the citizens of the district and the wider region.

Critical care, treatment, and diagnostic rooms are equipped with high-illuminance, color-accurate fixtures meeting rigorous standards so medical professionals can work with precision and confidence. Lighting is zoned, controllable, and balanced to support both human wellbeing and clinical performance.

Project brief
In patient rooms, lighting is designed to foster calm and healing, with soft ambient illumination complemented by adjustable high-CRI task lights at bedside and examination zones. Warm, soothing tones prevail in rest periods, while brighter, cooler light supports medical staff during rounds and procedures—always with glare minimized and shadows softened.
Corridors, waiting areas, and nursing stations are illuminated with uniform brightness to ensure clarity, safety, and orientation at all hours. Wayfinding is aided by indirect wall lighting, and night lighting settings are dimmed to reduce disturbance, while still allowing safe movement and emergency visibility.
